Tiny Pretzels. Big Conversations

Business Class© is a 2-hour experience for communities, professional teams, students, and random strangers, set aboard a mock airplane flight.

Using the airplane as a metaphor for our society — with crammed rows in Economy Class and luxurious socks in First — passengers take part in a facilitated dialogue experience that moves from the departure lounge and seat allocation to onboard drinks service and landing.

The flight offers a rare and playful opportunity to examine our own assumptions and behaviours. At 35,000 metaphorical feet we explore the broader norms that shape our community, workplaces, and society with strangers, colleagues and neighbours alike.

Together, outside the confines of echo chambers & performative roundtables, we connect with “the other” and take a crucial first step in systems change: trust-building. That phase—so often skipped or rushed—is where transformation, collective action and hope begin.

I’d recommend Business Class to any team ready to elevate their trust and connection, or any group that needs to break through to that next level of collaboration.”

SUSIE BUCKRIDGE, CEO, TALKTALK

Business Class is simply genius. It’s the perfect vehicle (excuse the pun) to discuss the most pressing issues of the day, whether that be in an institution, society, the environment… it shines a light on power, privilege and values.”

MATT PEACOCK, OBE, DIRECTOR, ARTS&HOMELESSNESS INTL

Business Class was life-changing"

ARKA MUKHERJEE, CEO, GLOBAL IDS

Wow, consider me mesmerized by Captain Schutt’s response, intuition, and creativity. Really just shaking my head at where boarding flights with strangers can take you…”

COUNCILMAN LEIGHTON NEWLIN, PRINCETON

"In the shadow of overwhelming challenges, Business Class offers more than comfort  — it’s a place to (re)connect with ‘the other’ and let hope grow."

NAOMI SAGE, EXEC DIRECTOR, JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER HARLEM, NYC

Business Class is a great experience to get out of our own little window seat view. When you are challenged and invited to a new reality suddenly many world views and truths can become different and be refreshed.

We All Have Baggage!

At a time when people are looking for ways to (re)connect, participants can expect small-group discussion, storytelling and individual reflection.

Professional groups can expect fresh perspective, greater clarity, and a renewed sense of collegial alignment. These shifts are shaped by the ideas, instincts, and underlying truths that rarely surface openly, but quietly influence every decision, dynamic, and direction a team and organization (and society) take.

All passengers disembark with renewed connections, fresh perspectives, a lavender-scented eye mask*, deeper empathy, and a stronger sense of action toward building a better world to come. No performing or acting is required, and passengers are invited to share as much or as little as they feel comfortable.

*First (and Maybe Business) Passengers only. We operate a no complaints policy.
